Meet the owner, Blake

Blake Bell, Owner of Bliss & Belle Boutique

Hi, I'm Blake! I was born in Texas and raised in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. Fashion has always been my passion and opening my own boutique has been something I've always dreamed of. After graduating from Indiana University (Go Hoosiers!) with an Apparel Merchandising Major I went west to follow my dreams of being in the fashion industry. I landed my first big girl job at BCBG Max Azria and spent majority of my time there as a buyer for the brand BCBGeneration. After 5 years in Los Angeles I headed back to the midwest. You're probably asking how I could leave the amazing California weather.. I know, I know. It was a tough one.. (probably more so for my husband who was born & raised in Southern California) After coming back to Chicago I started working for Walgreens as Buyer in the beauty gifting department. I learned a lot there, but mostly realized I was finally ready (or so I thought) to open my own store. And here we are! We opened our doors on May 9, 2018 and I couldn't be happier. This dream wouldn't have come true without the love and support from my family, friends, and team.
